Letter to Mother

Sept. 8th 1916

Dear Mother:–

I sent you a letter last night telling you I felt better, I went on parade today at noon I went to the doctors and he said I should go to the Hospital I don’t know what is wrong but he said I would have to go to bed for a while. I think it is nothing but the La Grippe I feel sore and have a head ack when ever I move quick I get little sharp panes thru my head some times

Well that is all I can write good by as ever your loving son L
